Objects - Rhythm For Hope
The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation)
To make available musical education, musical instruments and music-related programs and activities for the benefit of impoverished and or/at risk children in various countries internationally including ) but not limited to) the Company’s initial areas of activity in Malawi and Zimbabwe, as to provide a positive educative influence in such areas regardless of the social and/or economic status of the individuals in question.
To enable the provision of musical education , musical instruments and music related programs and activities so as to engender a number of corollary benefits to the community, including ( but not limited to) community development and integration, psychological development and the development of social skills among the beneficiaries of the work of the Company.
To make available such education, instruments, programs and activities as referred to in a. and b. above on a free and “not for profit” basis, so as to provide education and engender social amelioration within the community without any financial burden being placed on the community itself or any of its members.
To make provision for, engage in and coordinate the building of schools, accommodation and any other such related facilities within the Company’s areas of engagement on a free and no-for-profit basis so as to provide social amelioration and to make more freely available education within a safe and appropriate environment.
To make provision for and to secure the geographical expansion of the remit and undertaking of the Company itself so as to widen the geographical scope across which the community may benefit from the activities of the Company.
To do anything, which may be incidental or conductive to the above objectives.
Our mission is: to generate funds from concerts and other fundraising events, to enable us to use music as a vehicle for learning and development for at risk children, in third world countries.
Our aim is: to provide musical instruments, a safe learning environment, educational programs, and train musicians to become teachers.
